Photo Shoot :D

Header pictures was one of the first things that came up to our mind when we first started planning on Chin-Lay, since we have a photographer friend, Nick, who has really good skills, we thought of asking him to do us a favor (for free hahaha!) by taking pictures of us and put it as our blog’s header and he was happy to help! ( I guess?haha!)

The photo shoot took place at our college, Taylor’s Lakeside Campus and it was filled with laughter and embarrassment, people who passed by were looking at us and we felt really awkward. It was a sunny day, too. We were both sweating like crazy!

To be honest, we really did not expect that much of page views at all, and obviously we won’t label ourselves as fashion bloggers yet! The concepts of Chin-Lay are pretty simple and straight-forward: 1. A blog for two young girls who love dressing up for college and would love to share it around. 2. A little guide for high school girls who are going to college soon and have no idea what to wear. 3. A space for us to blog about what we like, who we spot in college.

We’re really thankful that there are no haters so far (LOLOLOL) and all our friends are giving us full support, please continue to spread it around and show some love :D

Hi, I am the Malay, of course. So why do I dress up to college? To me, college is the place where I go everyday therefore It’s definitely the perfect place to wear what you have! Every morning I spend at least half an hour to pick my clothes so that’s when the mix and match comes in. I love colors and I think it plays an important role in life so you will always see colors in my outfits. Spread the love peeps and enjoy :D

Ssup yo :P So I am the Chinese! Well I love dressing up because it brings me confidence and comfort. I consider myself as a minimalist when it comes to fashion-I like simple things like plain tees and denim, and because I can’t afford too many branded stuff, I mix high-street with random cheap finds I bought in places like Time Square, Sungei Wang and flea markets. I really hope you will enjoy reading our blog and show some love! :)
